DIY Luminous Hydrating Face Mist

You know that tight, thirsty feeling your skin gets after a long day in the sun, or after spending hours in dry indoor air? Instead of reaching for a store-bought face mist full of mystery preservatives and synthetic fragrance, you can mix up your own with just a few ingredients you probably already trust: aloe vera juice, rose water, your favorite essential oil, and a touch of Global Healing’s Luminous moisturizer

Ingredient Benefits

  • Aloe Vera Juice: Aloe hydrates and calms irritated or dry skin, and it’s rich in vitamins and antioxidants that support healing and regeneration.
  • Rose Water: Rose water helps balance the skin’s pH and adds a light, floral scent. It’s naturally anti-inflammatory and can help tone and soothe your skin without drying it out.
  • Essential Oil: One or two drops is all it takes. Be sure to choose a high-quality, skin-safe essential oil and patch test if you’re sensitive.
  • Global Healing Luminous: This clean, plant-based moisturizer adds an extra layer of hydration and glow. A little goes a long way, and it helps seal in the benefits of the aloe and rose water.

What You’ll Need

  • 1 tbsp Global Healing Luminous
  • 1 tbsp distilled water
  • 1 tbsp aloe vera juice
  • ½ cup rose water
  • 1-2 drops of essential oil (choose your favorite!)
  • Empty Miron glass spray bottle and nozzle
  • Small funnel

How to Make Your Luminous Hydrating Face Mist

  1. Clean the spray bottle and nozzle with warm, soapy water.
  2. Using a funnel, carefully add each ingredient to the empty bottle.
  3. Replace the spray nozzle and shake well.
  4. Mist your face for an instant boost of hydration.

Once you start using this mist, it will become one of those small, daily luxuries you wonder how you ever lived without. You can keep it in the fridge for a cooling boost after spending time in the sun, toss it in your bag for on-the-go hydration, or use it as the final step in your skincare routine to lock in moisture. Because you made it yourself, you know it’s safe, gentle, and made with love – be proud of that!
